What's New for the 2021 BMW M5?

In the BMW M5, high-performance capabilities collide beautifully with the spaciousness and comforts of a premium sedan. For 2021, this M Performance sedan introduces wireless connectivity for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The interior also has a larger touch display screen that measures 12.3 inches. The front and rear reflect the stunning impact of fresh styling, and these updates include revamped bumpers and lighting. Under the hood, the M5 Competition for 2021 adds damping calibration, a track driving mode, and new shock absorbers. The Competition also has fresh accents with a dark finish throughout the exterior and interior.

The powertrain in the M5 is unchanged. The same twin-turbo V8 engine is connected to an eight-speed auto transmission. It produces 600 horsepower, and you can take advantage of an additional 17 horsepower if you step up to the M5 Competition.
